The Basic Needs Trust FundBNTF is a regional poverty alleviation programme funded by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and The Government of St Kitts and Nevis
Since 1979, 10 of Caribbean Development Bank’s borrowing member countries have been implementing national BNTF programs. The beneficiaries include: Jamaica, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Lucia, Dominica, Grenada, Turks and Caicos, Montserrat, Belize and St Kitts and Nevis.

BASIC NEEDS TRUST FUND PROJECT
INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis (GOSKN), a participating country of the Basic Need Trust Fund (BNTF) Programme, has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to two million, sixty-six thousand three hundred and forty two United States Dollars (USD 2,066,342) under BNTF Cycles 7 and 8 from which sub-projects are funded, towards the cost of the BNTF Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under this contract.
At BNTF we work with community groups to meet the community needs. BNTF has financed upgrades and renovations of health and education facilities as well as skills training programs. Projects have also been completed in building access roads,
